Web16 Mar 2012 · Oct 10, 2009. 2,177. BUFFALO, NY. I just aquired a th475 out of a motor home. The trans had the large e-brake drum on the tailshaft. I verified the model in my book as a FK 475 trans from a 1987-88 P-series motor home. I understand the 475 has straight cut gears, not helical cut like the 400's do.

Buy a slip yoke designed to slip over the O-ring on the shaft. Dennys Drive Shaft carries proper yokes. You will see the O-ring on the shaft when you remove the MH housing.
