Docks/Lunaris are good ones. You can potentially do maps but you will have to stay behind the group and you will die occasionally. No way around that. You could stack chaos res, use coruscating elixir, use solaris lorica until you have shavs, esh's visage. Plenty of ways to make lowlife work without shavs, and besides, anyone can farm up for a shavs in a couple weeks.
