Webused in the CytoFLEX platform can be calibrated for a linear response. Measured intensities are linear to the detector gain setting across a wide range of gain settings. This means the fluorescence measurement increases or decreases linearly based on the gain adjustment. (Each instrument has its own gain/fluorescence curve for each detector).
